What should you know before renting a porta potty in Montgomery County?
Renting a porta potty in Montgomery County depends on where the unit goes: in Dayton, on a rural lot near Huber Heights, at a farm or park, or on a job site. The facts below draw on 2026 Ohio Fair Schedule (Ohio Department of Agriculture list) and Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County.
Where is the Montgomery County Fair held now?
The Montgomery County Fair runs July 14–19, 2026, at Arthur O. Fisher Park in Dayton, its home for the past several years. The fair moved there from its old grounds near downtown Dayton. Vendors and exhibitors should confirm truck access routes with fair staff before any unit is delivered.

Does the Dayton Air Show create restroom needs nearby?
The Dayton Air Show is held each June at Dayton International Airport near Vandalia. Crowds are large, and nearby homes, churches and lots often host parking and tailgate groups. Private hosts should book units and handwashing stations early, because June weekends fill fast in the Dayton area.
Who handles septic systems in Montgomery County?
Public Health – Dayton and Montgomery County runs the household sewage treatment system program for the county. Most of Montgomery County is on sewer, but rural pockets near Brookville, Germantown and Clayton still use septic tanks. A failing system often means renting a short-term unit while repairs are made.

When is the Germantown Pretzel Festival?
The Germantown Pretzel Festival is held each September in the city of Germantown in southwest Montgomery County. Food booths and craft vendors draw big weekend crowds to a small downtown. Handwashing stations near food lines help vendors meet health rules and keep restroom lines moving.
What home projects need a toilet in Dayton suburbs?
Kettering, Oakwood and Riverside have many older homes built with only one bathroom. A bathroom remodel can leave a family without a working toilet for several weeks. A standard unit in the driveway is often simpler than sharing a neighbor's bathroom or running to a gas station.
What is rural delivery like in Montgomery County?
Montgomery County is mostly suburban, but the western and northern edges near Brookville, Clayton and Germantown stay rural. Those areas have longer drives, farm lanes and some gravel roads. In city neighborhoods, the challenge is tight driveways and street parking rather than mud or hills.
