What makes a deluxe flushing porta potty different?
A deluxe flushing porta potty adds a foot-pump flush, a foot-pump sink with fresh water, soap, paper towels and a mirror. It is a little larger than a standard unit and feels cleaner because waste is flushed out of sight. It still needs no water hookup or power.

When should you choose a deluxe unit over a standard one?
Choose a deluxe flushing unit for weddings, showers, upscale backyard parties and any event where guests are dressed up or there is no handwashing station. Choose a standard unit plus a two-sided handwashing station when the budget is tight; that pair often costs less than one deluxe unit.
Read the station vs sink unit comparison. See deluxe pricing.
What does the inside look like?
The inside of a deluxe flushing porta potty has a raised toilet seat, a foot pedal for flushing, a corner sink with a foot pump, a soap dispenser, a towel holder and a mirror. Light comes through the roof during the day, and there is room to turn around.
Deluxe unit questions
Does a deluxe porta potty need a water hookup?
A deluxe flushing unit arrives with its fresh water tank already filled for the flush and sink. No hose or power is needed, so it works in fields, parks and backyards far from the house.
How many guests can one deluxe unit handle?
One deluxe unit handles about 50 guests for a 4-hour event. The fresh water tank runs low before the waste tank fills, so very busy events should add a unit or a mid-event refill.
Are deluxe units in short supply on holidays?
Deluxe units are the first to book out for July 4, Memorial Day and peak wedding Saturdays. Reserve 2 to 3 weeks ahead for those dates. If they are booked, a standard unit plus a handwashing station works well.
Is a deluxe unit the same as a restroom trailer?
A deluxe unit is a single portable restroom with a flush and sink. A restroom trailer has separate stalls, real porcelain toilets, running water, lights and climate control, and needs a hose and an outlet.
