What should you know before renting a porta potty in Hocking County?
Renting a porta potty in Hocking County depends on where the unit goes: in Logan, on a rural lot near Murray City, at a farm or park, or on a job site. The facts below draw on Hocking Hills Tourism Association, 2026 Ohio Fair Schedule (Ohio Department of Agriculture list) and Hocking County, Ohio.
Can you deliver to a Hocking Hills cabin wedding?
Hocking Hills cabins often have small septic systems that cannot handle a large wedding or reunion crowd. Extra units or a restroom trailer protect the cabin's system from backing up. Many cabin drives are steep gravel, so send photos of the access road before booking.

When is the Hocking County Fair?
The Hocking County Fair runs September 14–19, 2026, at the fairgrounds in Logan. It comes later than most central Ohio fairs and overlaps the start of fall color season. Cabin traffic and fair traffic share the same roads that week, so plan delivery times with extra room.

Who oversees septic systems in Hocking County?
The Hocking County health department oversees household septic systems, which serve most cabins and rural homes in the county. Rocky soil and steep slopes make septic repairs slow and hard to schedule. A rented unit keeps a cabin or home usable while the work gets done.

When is the Logan Washboard Music Festival?
The Logan Washboard Arts and Music Festival is held each June in downtown Logan. Street crowds and vendor rows need restrooms close to the music and food. Units usually go on side lots or private parking areas, since downtown streets are narrow and busy during the festival.

Can you place a porta potty in Hocking Hills State Park?
Hocking Hills State Park is state land, and units cannot be dropped there without park approval. Private cabins, venues and campgrounds along SR-664 and SR-374 can get units delivered. Plan for heavy weekend traffic near Old Man's Cave when choosing a delivery window.
What is rural delivery like in Hocking County?
Hocking County is steep and wooded, full of gravel cabin lanes with tight switchbacks. Some drives are too narrow or steep for a service truck after heavy rain. Choose a level spot near the main road or parking pad, and tell us about low branches or one-lane bridges.

Hocking County porta potty questions
Our Hocking Hills cabin has a long gravel drive. Can you still deliver?
Gravel drives are fine if the truck can get within about 15 feet of a firm, level spot. Very steep or washed-out drives may need placement near the parking pad or the road instead. Send a photo or map pin when you book so the driver knows what to expect.
Will extra guests overload our cabin septic?
Small cabin septic systems can back up when a wedding or reunion adds dozens of guests in one day. Renting units keeps that load off the cabin's system and protects your deposit. Plan on about one standard unit per 50 guests for a short event, and more for longer ones.
How fast can you reach Logan from Columbus?
Logan is about 55 minutes southeast of Columbus on US-33, so Hocking County is an easy run for delivery trucks. Next-day delivery is the standard fast option. Same-day may be possible if you call by noon, Monday through Saturday, with any fee quoted before booking.
